Anton Antecedent

Anton Antecedent is the principal sub-sector in Anton Australis, containing the Sector government on Grovsenor and a number of strategically vital worlds. It goes without saying that this makes the sub-sector a prime target for attack, and its military forces are vast and experienced.

The sub-sector's large size and proximity to the Scallop Stars make it a common target for ork pirates, while an eccentric drift means that its systems occasionally cut through the Hakachack Pickets, prompting conflict with the Hakka. On top of all this, the Tau Brightsword Protectorate has recently extended its claim into the rimward reaches of Anton Antecedent.

As a result of this, its inhabitants are tough, stubborn and bloody-minded; leading to the sector's nickname 'Hubris'.
