Raleigh's Gate

Settled in the dying years of M41, the Raleigh's Gate system is a demonstration that the Imperium continues to grow and flourish even as its borders are tested.

Modestly populated by ex-servicemen from Saint Capilene's Favour after the events of the Hyperion Gambit, Berrick's World is civil and mostly law-abiding. The planet still enjoys the beneficent rule of its first Imperial Commander, Mobray Berrick, an elderly retired Guard officer. Blessed with little imagination and no humility, he simply named the planet, principal settlement and starport after himself upon learning his regiment – the Capilene Thirteenth Heavy Armour – was to be granted settlement rights. 

Logia Black is a dismal hellhole covered with a sprawling urban populace, supported by a mean fishing industry.
