Birch is the Imperial designation for this system. Little is known about this system, though occasional Imperial sorties frequently discover new planetoids.
Birch is the oldest-recorded planet in the system, an inhospitable desert planet much valued by ork raiders for the myraid ambush points on its surface.
Kursalt is a deathworld of salt flats and ferro-desert, this Emperor-forsaken planet gave rise to the Black Kuttas in M37, and was one of the first dropsites during the Fourth Great Cull.
