Notable Location
Sunder
Sunder – known as Sunda to the orks, in an unusual example of the Imperials adopting the ork's guttural language for a planet – is the sole habitable world in the system. It is barely habitable, being wracked with scalding sulphur storms powerful volcanic activity and generally being hot, uncomfortable and dark.
Classed as a deathworld, the planet nevertheless supports a thriving populace of ork tribes who war with the aboriginal inhabitants, a fierce silicon-based species known as the Yotunn.

Firewashed – Planetstrike mission. Models arriving via deepstrike risk plunging through the thin soil as their sudden weight cracks the ground; teleportation matrices destabilise the thin surface; or similar reasons. Units arriving by deepstrike treat open terain as dangerous, difficult terrain on the turn they arrive and the following turn. Defending units may not be kept in reserve.
War is Hell – Sunder has little to no strategic value. Forces shipped here fight for nothing other than a distant general or warlord's errant order – and the troops know the only way off is to wipe out the enemy once and for all. Victory points for objectives remain the same; kill points count double.
