Cyrinth

Cyrinth, also known as Syrineth, is identified by the Imperium as a potential Agriworld. The planet is an Eldar protectorate of the type crudely translated as a Maiden World. It lies on the Isthmus of Syrineth, a narrow band of star that joins the warp-sheltered Pelopynnesine Region to the sector at large. The world lies roughly halfway between Ythin and Paratas.

Systematic martio-archaeological investigations of the Syrineth defenses under the auspices of the Ordo Xenos have uncovered and charted large parts of the ancient world, and recent excavations conducted by the Imperial Ministry of Monoculture have brought important new facets of Eldar antiquity to light.

Like other Eldar worlds in the area, it accepts rulership by a representative of the Prytain, the communal Eldar government who takes the title Polemarch – seemingly analogous to Autarch in Craftworld matters, though doubtless a hundred subtle layers of meaning are lost by xenolinguists. The Exodite inhabitants of the world enjoy trade with passing Eldar fleets and craftworlds, and leave much of the defence of the sector to the Ythin fleet and Paratas military.
