The Tyranid bio-form known colloquially as 'Old Growler' – due to the low growl of challenge he emits when encountering enemy leaders – has been proving a significant menace to all forces involved in the Frigia campaign. He seems to have been spawned by the Hive Mind with the primary purpose of eliminating hostile commanders, which is a role he has achieved with some success. There has been some speculation that as the Tyranids acquire more DNA, 'Old Growler' will become a steadily more deadly foe...
