Dramatis personae
Inquisitor Unfortunus Veck
+++Classified+++
A masterful diplomat and member of the Ordo Xenos, Veck holds many allies amongst the Inquisition. While all members of the Inquisition are nominatively of equal rank, Veck's influence and powerbase are – for now – comparatively stable. He represents one of the Inquisition's more accessible members, and liases with the Sector and Sub-sector governments on behalf of the Inquisition. He is also known to be in contact with Patriarch Innocent, one of the highest-ranking Ministorum officials in the sector, and Sector Ecclesiarch Arimas Thorn's right-hand man. The personal agenda of this gaunt and fragile-looking man is broadly sympathetic to the Amalthian cause – Veck is a great believer in the philosophy 'united we stand, divided we fall', as noted in his doctrinal treatist Against The Enemies of Man.
Given to depression, introspection and possessing an iron-hard will, Veck's dour presence is emblematic of the Inquisition – a hidden hand that knows all and sees all.
Veck is still a field Inquisitor, and occasionally drops off the radar to investigate dealings in the company of his attendants – notably liasing with the Archmagos Invigilatus Hebrian Zion in order to unveil the tech-heresy of Junta Phall. He has shown an interest in the history of the Fourth Great Purge, and was intimately involved in the Coürt of the Sunñe Cyng affair [see noospheric remote inload: +http://s3.zetaboards.com/The_Ammobunker/topic/7722007/1/+].
Known associates:
Veck has a huge web of spies, henchmen and loyal associates; which in turn cascade down with their own extended network. His closest allies – perhaps they might even describe themselves as friends, though friendship with an Inquisitor is necessarily with caveats – are as follows:
Pition Tigermoney
Bathian Symes
Loric Indweller
Interrogator Cyprion Northgrass
Magos Titus Manderghast
